Coronavirus Update: how we’re responding to the crisis

How we’re supporting our employees, customers, and communities

 

EMPLOYEE:

 

We’re offering a special one-time Thank You bonus totaling over $500,000. All front-line employees and partners who were with the company throughout the month of June will receive a bonus.

 

We've distributed personal protective gear, such as masks for our employees, and implemented disinfectant spraying and temperature checks across our operations worldwide.

 

Someone diagnosed with COVID-19 will receive up to two weeks of paid time off—this is in addition to their other paid and unpaid time off options.

 

EastLink Loan employees receive comprehensive health benefits starting on day one of employment. 

 

 

CUSTOMERS:

 

We wanted to let you know what we’re doing in response to the Coronavirus outbreak.

 

Firstly, we’re following the government health advice to make sure our staff and customers stay safe and putting all the necessary measures in place to ensure this advice is followed.

 

We have provided over $2 million in bonuses and incentives for our customers globally in 2020.

 

We pay our customers a certain monthly covid19 benefit for 2years. This includes old and new customers. 

 

We understand this is a challenging time and we’re putting our robust business continuity plans into action so we can continue to serve you during this trialing period.

 

 We recognise some of you might have some worries about how it could affect you and your money.

Worried about making payments due to coronavirus?

 

If you are, or imminently expect to be experiencing financial difficulties due to COVID-19, we can provide support by deferring payments by up to 6 months. This is available in periods of 3 months or less and may consist of full or partial payment deferral. During the deferral period the deferred amount would not be reported as being in arrears. This may result in you taking longer to settle your loan, but we promise not to charge you any post term interest or any charge/fee due to deferring your payments.

COMMUNITIES: 

 

As a multinational corporation with operations worldwide, we are actively involved in local efforts to fight the spread of COVID-19

 

In Europe, we committed €5 million (almost $7 million USD) to support those most affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

 

EastLink Loan  donated  $3 million to Feeding America.

 

We’re working with foodbanks in 25 cities across the country to deliver 6 million meals to underserved and vulnerable populations. 

 

EastLink Loan has made  donations for charity organisations, health centers to purchase COVID-19 test kits, ventilators and hospital beds and food.
